10 Best Couponing BlogsHave you seen Extreme Couponing on TLC. Unbelievable. There's definitely an art to it folks. Though I haven't tried it, I know several people who have, and the deals they're able to find are incredible. I'm a little jealous, in fact. But probably not jealous enough— it takes a lot of time to do it the right way. In fact, people have gotten so good at it, that some stores, namely Target, Rite Aid and Publix, have created new couponing policies to try to combat the empty shelves that result from the strategies learned from extreme couponing experts. Interestingly, each of them began couponing simply as a mom trying to help out by saving money. They were so successful, they decided to share their knowledge with the world. And here they are, our picks of the 10 Best Couponing Blogs: 1. The Krazy Coupon Lady. If you're thinking about getting into extreme couponing, or your just getting started, this is a great blog to visit. Heather Wheeler and Joanie Demer are founders of TheKrazyCouponLady.com and they wrote a book called Pick Another Checkout Lane, Honey. They're famous for finding all of the best bargains and sharing them with you. 2. Fabulesslyfrugal.com. This couponing blog was started by a busy mom of seven just trying to save money— and by learning how to coupon, she cut her grocery bill in half. It features great advice for new couponers, store-specific deals, and even menu planning info. They've also got a DVD you can purchase for $37.00 on the 7 Secrets to Successful Couponing (FYI, checkout Retailmenot.com for a coupon to get it for only $17). 3. Frugalcouponliving.com. This is a great place to find "daily deal" type coupons. It was started by a mom named Ashley in 2008, and has become a great resource for "stretching your pennies, saving your dollars". 4. Kouponkaren.com. Koupon Karen is all about teaching you how to save money on "everyday items" so you'll have more money to do the things you enjoy. If you like free stuff, sign up for her email updates or follow her on Twitter. This blog is certainly worth following. 5. A Thrifty Mom. You may find more information and deals than you can handle here! It's an awesome blog. If you're new to couponing, you'll like the Coupons 101, Extreme Couponing 101 and Freebies 101 sections. A Thrifty Mom does a great job at finding awesome deals locally and online and tells you exactly how to use the coupons to get the best savings. 6. Bargain Briana. If you're new to couponing, check out Bargain Briana's "New Year, New Grocery Budget" post. It's a great intro to the basics of couponing. Bargain Briana helps you find both online and offline deals. Definitely worth a look. 7. Military Wives Saving. Military folks, this is a great site for you! Many of the coupons are exclusively for U.S. Military patrons. You'll find tons of deals— both online and offline for some awesome products, stores, restaurants and services. It's a MUST visit for military families. 8. Stretching A Buck. If you love deals (and I'm sure you do if you're reading this post), you'll find them here. It's another great couponing blog where you'll find grocery coupons, freebies, online deals, printable coupons and overall money saving and couponing advice. 9. Super Couponing. Jill Cataldo knows couponing. This blog is full of couponing tools, answers to frequently asked questions, deals of the week and of course, coupons. She says that through the techniques she teaches, you can cut your grocery bill by 50-70% using coupons. WOW! If you're ready to get into couponing hard-core, check this blog out. 10. A Full Cup. Not only is A Full Cup a blog, it's a community. In fact, it currently has almost 25,000 likes' on Facebook. It's another good place to find deals, print coupons and save money.
