How moving container services work

MoveBuilder's Moving Container Services
It may come as no surprise that all moving container services operate a little differently, but the concept is the same for most…The moving container is delivered to your location for loading, then it's picked up and driven to your new location for unloading.  Usually it's the details like equipment size, transit time and cost that differ.

So, let's talk a little about how MoveBuilder moving container services work:

First, MoveBuilder offers two type of moving containers:  ReloCubes and moving trailers— all equipment owned and operated by ABF Freight System, Inc.

The trailers are 28 ft. x 8 ft. x 9 ft. (lwh) and hold the contents of an average-sized 3-4 bedroom home. You pay only for the space you use in the moving trailer. ReloCube moving containers are 6 ft. x 7 ft. x 8 ft. (lwh) and typically hold the contents of a studio-sized apartment. You pay only for the number of ReloCubes you use.

Once you choose between the moving trailer or the ReloCube, an ABF driver delivers it to your location on your move day.  Then, if you've chosen loading services, your MoveBuilder loading crew loads your belongings, secures them, and gets them ready for transport.  Since MoveBuilder never moves or transfers your belongings, they stay right where they were loaded until they're unloaded at the destination.

Speaking of destination…you'll find that the moving container services offered by MoveBuilder have one of the fastest moving transit times in the industry— especially when compared to traditional movers.  MoveBuilder's average transit time is 3-5 business days.  And, you can typically get it there even faster with MoveBuilder's Guaranteed Transit.

Then there's the price.  When you compare MoveBuilder to other moving container services, particularly full-service companies, you'll often find lower prices— even when loading and unloading services are included.  And, getting a free moving estimate is easy— just call to speak with a MoveBuilder specialist or complete the Free Moving Estimate form on the right.
