Moving Pods Pricing

Comparing moving pods pricing

We've mentioned before that moving pods have become a very popular way to move over the past few years.  Why do you think that is? I think possibly people really like the thought of their belongings being the only things inside the container, that they can store easily and that they're so easy to load and unload.  It really is a great concept.  If I was moving and needed storage with my move, it's absolutely the way I would go.

Though if you've begun getting moving estimates to determine moving pods pricing, you may have noticed one downfall…they're sometimes expensive, with some companies.

I say "with some companies" because there are several companies offering moving pods services these days.  And while not all will put a dent in your pocketbook, some will.  My recommendation is to start figuring out moving pods prices by getting online moving estimates.  You may find in the process that several have limited service areas— they may be able to service one of your locations, but not both— so you can mark those off of your list.  If you have a limited moving budget, you may also be able to mark those off the list where the moving pods cost is beyond what your budget allows.

Of course, I recommend that you consider getting a MoveBuilder moving estimate when you're checking out the cost of moving in a pod— specifically if you also need packing, loading and/or unloading help.  In a previous post a while back called "PODS® Rates", we talked about how the cost of a PODS® container compares to moving in a ReloCube® (the moving and storage container that MoveBuilder uses)— it's definitely something to check out.   If you're looking for just transportation and storage, and not packing/loading/unloading help, I also recommend getting a moving quote from U-Pack Moving.  I think you'll find it an extremely affordable alternative to the more expensive moving pods prices.
