Moving To or From ChicagoThere are a handful of cities across the U.S. where move-out and move-in days are a little more difficult due to parking restrictions. As you can probably guess, Chicago is one of those locations. Since parking spaces are sparse— specifically for large moving trucks— a "full shuttle" is usually required. This involves "shuttling" all of the customer's belongings from one location to another. With MoveBuilder, that means shuttling the household goods from an ABF service center to the customer's home/apartment or vice versa. Here's what happens if you're moving to a Chicago location where moving trailers are not allowed: Once your shipment arrives at the nearest ABF service center, MoveBuilder movers will remove your belongings from the ABF trailer or ReloCube and load them into a smaller box truck that is allowed into your area. Then, the movers will transport your belongings to your new home/apartment and unload. It's simple. So, if you're moving to or from Chicago, shuttle service makes door delivery an option in most areas. When you call for a moving estimate, just let us know your zip code and we'll check serviceability. |
